Somalia’s prolonged drought has pushed millions of families to the brink of famine, with scarce water sources, failed harvests, and malnutrition rates soaring among children. At Give For All, our Emergency Drought & Food Security Relief for Somalia campaign is dedicated to delivering life‑saving nourishment and clean water to those most at risk.

Each relief effort includes:

  • Emergency food rations packed with fortified cereal blends, pulses, and vegetable oil—enough to sustain a family of five for two weeks.
  • Clean water trucking and distribution of jerrycans, ensuring households have at least 15 liters of safe drinking water per person, per day.
  • Therapeutic nutrition supplements (plumpy’nut and micronutrient powders) for malnourished children under five, to reverse wasting and stunting.
  • Cash‑transfer vouchers enabling families to purchase fresh produce and essential items in local markets, restoring dignity and stimulating the local economy.

How we deliver aid on the ground:

  • We partner with the Somali Red Crescent Society, World Food Programme (WFP), and trusted community committees to map the hardest‑hit districts—particularly in Puntland and Somaliland.
  • Our logistics team coordinates bulk shipments of food and water from regional hubs in Nairobi and Djibouti, moving supplies via secured convoys to Mogadishu and outlying distribution points.
